The Iraqi Private Banks League, in cooperation with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, concluded a training course on the "Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Risk Management System," with the participation of several banks operating in Iraq.

This collaboration between the League and the IFC stems from a previously signed agreement aimed at implementing ESG standards within banks to develop the banking sector in coordination with the Central Bank of Iraq.
