The Iraqi Private Banks League, in cooperation with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, organized a specialized training course titled “ESG Risk Management for Banks” at the League’s headquarters in Baghdad.

The training course aimed to strengthen the capacities of Iraqi bank employees in risk management and the application of ESG standards, in line with international best practices and sustainability requirements, enhancing the efficiency of the banking sector and reinforcing its role in economic development.
