Iraqi Private Banks League Continues Financial Inclusion Week Activities in Old City of Baghdad

Under the patronage of the Central Bank of Iraq, the Iraqi Private Banks League continues to organize the activities of “Financial Inclusion Week,” aimed at promoting economic empowerment and spreading financial literacy across communities.

The events, held in the Old City of Baghdad, witnessed strong public attendance and wide engagement from citizens, with active participation from several banks and electronic payment companies.

Participating banks and companies provided direct banking services to the public, including free account opening and issuance of electronic payment cards, alongside awareness sessions highlighting the importance of digital transformation and the role of banking services in facilitating daily transactions.

The initiative reflects the Iraqi Private Banks League’s commitment to advancing financial inclusion and building stronger bridges of trust with society. It forms part of a series of ongoing initiatives designed to reach citizens across all provinces of Iraq to ensure the achievement of genuine and comprehensive economic empowerment.
