The Iraqi Private Banks League(IPBL), in cooperation with the Banking Think Tank at the Central Bank of Iraq(CBI), organized a workshop titled "Modern Practices in Measuring Return on Investment (ROI) from Training," with participation from Aljhood Joint Group, the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ), Bayt Al-Hikma Training and Consulting Company (BHTC), and Frankfurt University.
The workshop was attended by employees from private banks, electronic payment companies, and financial institutions.
The Executive Director of the Iraqi Private Banks League, Ali Tariq, opened the event by emphasizing that the workshop reflects the League’s commitment to enhancing the competencies of banking sector employees through the adoption of international best practices. He noted that measuring ROI from training constitutes a key step toward human resource development and institutional performance improvement.
He added that the partnership with the Central Bank of Iraq, along with international and local institutions, underscores a shared commitment to building a financial sector capable of keeping pace with rapid changes in the business environment.
The workshop aimed to acquaint participants with the critical role of training in developing the skills of banking employees by adopting advanced banking systems and aligning with global standards.
