The Iraqi Private Banks League, in cooperation with al-Husn Digital Company, organized a specialized workshop on strengthening security systems in the financial and banking sectors to counter the growing incidents of online fraud and fake pages.
During the workshop, experts in technological solutions for brand protection presented the latest international mechanisms used for early detection of electronic fraud attempts, and ways to counter them through the creation of technically secured links and pages to reduce risks facing financial and banking institutions.
Ali Tariq, Executive Director of the Iraqi Private Banks League, stated that the workshop is part of ongoing efforts to reinforce confidence in Iraq’s financial and banking sector and enhance security in line with technological developments. He noted that cooperation with the Central Bank of Iraq marks an important step in supporting banks to adopt modern technological solutions and confront emerging challenges.
The workshop emphasized the importance of proactive measures and preventive procedures to protect financial institutions from potential cyber exploitation, contributing to a secure and stable banking environment.
