In cooperation with Connected Consulting Partners (CCP), the Iraqi Private Banks League participated in the Future of Governance and Digital Transformation Forum, which brought together leading figures and experts from Iraq’s banking, financial, and technology sectors in Baghdad.
The forum examined key transformations taking place across Iraq’s financial and banking sector, ranging from the development of financial services and digital payments to governance, risk management, compliance, and institutional readiness to keep pace with rapid advances in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
Discussions highlighted the importance of strengthening financial institutions’ capabilities and leveraging data and technology to support decision-making, while enhancing integration across administrative, regulatory, and technical functions.
CCP also showcased its MASAR Enterprise Management & Assurance Platform, MASAR IT GRC, and RAQEEB AI systems, which provide institutional support in governance, risk management, compliance, and auditing, as well as IT governance and cybersecurity.
The League’s participation forms part of its ongoing efforts to support the development of Iraq’s banking sector and promote dialogue and knowledge exchange, helping strengthen the sector’s readiness and ability to keep pace with developments shaping the financial industry both domestically and internationally.
