The Iraqi Private Banks League organized a seminar on the Central Bank’s guide for the detailed evaluation of the standards of the 2025 Banking Reform Project, in coordination with the Central Bank’s Banking Supervision Department.

The seminar was moderated by the League’s advisor, Samir al-Nusairi, with the participation of Central Bank representative Haitham Riyadh.

The event focused on explaining and clarifying the standards outlined in the guide, emphasizing the core regulatory requirements and procedures expected of banks, and presenting a clear description of the Central Bank’s evaluation methodology.

Participating banks raised inquiries regarding mechanisms to facilitate the implementation of the standards, to strengthen cooperation with the Central Bank, and ensure the accurate application of banking reform requirements.
