Under the patronage of the Central Bank of Iraq, the Iraqi Private Banks League concluded its “Financial Inclusion Week” activities in the northern region, organizing a banking and electronic payment exhibition in the Kurdistan Region and Mosul province.
The events witnessed broad participation from several banks and electronic payment companies, which provided free-of-charge services to citizens and students. Services included opening bank accounts, issuing electronic cards, and introducing modern digital banking solutions, contributing to easier access to financial services.
The initiative forms part of the League’s efforts to expand financial inclusion across the northern provinces, support economic stability, and enable wider segments of society to integrate into the formal financial system through ongoing field activities covering various regions of Iraq.
